Traces of engagement

The artist explores the notion of political engagement through voices recorded in French, English, and German in Mainz, Germany. These personal accounts are interwoven with images captured in the city: posters, tags, stickers that mark the public space. By confronting intimate voices with the visual signs of the street, the project highlights the plurality of forms of engagement and reminds us that the political unfolds everywhere, in everyday gestures and spaces.
